Installs and repairs industrial and commercial refrigeration systems by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid New York State Driver's License
EPA Refrigerant Certification
Travel by airplane, automobile, etc., may be required on a regular, as needed basis, in the sole discretion of the Company, on behalf of itself and any affiliated companies, parties, etc., it may represent. A commitment is required to attend daily/weekly department meetings. Overtime is expected in accordance with workload and job completion schedules.

You’ll find Trend Products in high-rise buildings, large commercial and industrial facilities, schools, hospitals and airports. Trend Control Systems also easily integrate into other building systems, including lighting, fire and security/access. This line was acquired by Honeywell International in 2005. Through the established Novar distribution network, Trend is expanding its development in the United States. As the Owner of Novar and another well known Building Automation system, Alerton, Trend has a support network that is well developed and large. We have taken on the Trend line because of its open protocol support of XML, OPC, LON, BACnet and MODBUS systems. It utilizes a state of the art user interface that is 100 percent internet based.
Right down to the controller level, graphics are stored locally and can be accessed with any internet browser with no special software. The controllers also act as a server making it simpler to integrate into an existing broadband Ethernet network system.
We presently have a system installed in Kinderhook, NY and The Lodge at Woodcliff in Rochester and are working at producing larger systems in Liverpool, NY, downtown Syracuse, Boston, MA and Washington, DC.
