IT Analyst

Job Summary
The IT Analyst is responsible for managing the organization’s Information systems and develops, implements, supports, maintains and modifies system requirements.  This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assist with subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.  This position is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization. The IT Analyst is to adhere to the mission and values of Widewaters.
Essential Functions of the Job                                                                  
Reporting
  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of IT, HR, Real Estate and Construction system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Research, analyze and negotiate third party vendors to support all hotel properties.
  • Mange system security levels.
  • Compliance reporting for ACA, EEOC, etc.
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Development, Training & Support
  • Thorough knowledge and intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint and Time & Attendance software.
  • Provide support for IT, HR and Payroll including, but not limited to, researching and resolving IT system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with 3rd party constituents, including senior management, and the IT and HRMS customer base.
  • Serve as an interface between internal/external customers and the functional team members to ensure effective definition of and delivery of IT and HRMS applications.
  • Provide necessary training to employees and managers on current systems, new systems and functionality.
  • Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.
Leadership
  • Oversee, manage and communicate on system upgrade changes to the Organization.
  • Lead the development, implementation and modification of system requirements in the following areas: 
    • Analysis /discovery; documentation of requirements; system definition and set-up.
    • Data consolidation, cleansing and importing.
    • Integration with internal and external systems.
  • Recommend ways to maximize system utilization and process efficiencies.
  • Research best practices and assist with implementing and incorporating into SOPs.
  • Negotiate priorities and support requirements with the IT Dept., functional staff at the field locations, and others as appropriate.

Authority and Supervisory Qualifications:
This position reports to the Vice President of IT. The position carries out responsibilities in line with the established policies and statutes in consultation with the VP of IT.  Responsible for overall system maintenance, auditing, writing and running reports and Company support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university and three to five years of IT/HRIS/Payroll or specialist experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to two years of project management experience. Systems implementation experience.
